Greetings from the International Law and Policy Society!
The year 2020 has left the world reeling under a global pandemic, while a tense military standoff was triggered between two nuclear superpowers, India and China. With the race for a successful vaccine having severe implications on the global balance of power, the US Elections has brought a shift in Presidential control from the Republican Party to the Democratic Party. Thus, to have a better understanding of such intricate policy changes, ILPS NLUO is pleased to organize its first Webinar on the topic, “US Elections 2020: Implications for the Russia- China-India Strategic Triangle”.
We welcome our distinguished keynote Speaker Dr. Richard Weitz, Senior Fellow and Director of the Center for Political-Military Analysis at Hudson Institute. His current research includes regional security developments relating to Europe, Eurasia, and East Asia, as well as U.S. foreign and defense policies. Before joining Hudson in 2005, Dr. Weitz worked at the Institute for Foreign Policy Analysis, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the Defense Science Board, Harvard University, and the U.S. Department of Defense.
